Updated for 2023 that continues to show that we are keen to enjoy and then support others into all types of grass roots motorsport.
Our 2023 fleet currently looks like this;
We will continue with some of the old favourites:
Triumph Spitfire competing in Hill Climbs & Sprints
1977, 1500cc with some engine and handling modifications, but remains road legal. Entered into the Classic Marques Speed Challenge; a series of hill climbs and sprints against the clock with a power to weight handicap system so it attracts a wide array of vehicle types. Organised through membership of the CMSCC (Classic Marques Sports Car Club). Will also be competing in the speed series through membership of the HRCR (Historic Rally Car Register).
Driver Nigel Walton
E Type for Classic car tours
1969 Series 2: original UK 2 seater FHC specification with Jaguar Heritage Certificate; 4.2 Litre straight 6 engine
Driver Nigel Walton
Then we are adding in new vehicles and disciplines:
Volvo for Classic car rallies
1959 1600cc structurally and mechanically sound and we plan to keep the external patina as shown, however we will be completing cosmetic improvements to the interior. Will be competing in historic car rallies organised through the HRCR.
Drivers Nigel Walton & Chris Moore
MGB Roadster competing in Hill Climbs & Sprints
1979, 1800cc with some engine and handling modifications, but remains road legal. Entered into the Classic Marques Speed Challenge. Driver Chris Moore
AC Cobra for displays and showing
A meticulously crafted, hand built vehicle running a very lively 4.6L V8 engine on Ford Sierra Cosworth running gear which proved very competitive on the Santa Pod track. Driver Nigel Walton
Hovercraft racing competing in the Junior Nationals championship
New build of a Rattler single engine, single fan specification craft, fitted with a Rotax 447 engine which, because its running in the Junior championship has to have its thrust limited. Pilot Charlie Moore
Collaborations across the paddocks have led to others carrying the TinSan Brand
These are not our vehicles: but include a 1999 2.5L Porsche Boxster in the race winning hands of Simon Parkin; a Triumph GT6, with a Ford Zetec engine handled by Alan Voyce.
We also have Junior Hovercraft contender Oliver Bran and F50 class contender Sarah Gill.
Model racing featuring a range of specifications
After spending last year in development, we are now ready to run in the very competitive championships under the control of MSUK at both indoor and outdoor circuits so the technical aspects of car set up can be very consuming. Driver Chris Moore
We are also planning to include our involvement with non-competitive track days, drifting and even tank driving! – Along with attending shows, displays and exhibitions, as we continue to network industry wide to build our brand – and hopefully I will get my promised drive in a Ford GT40!
To make way for this packed itinerary, we had to say goodbye to some of last year’s vehicles that have now been moved on for others to enjoy:
MGB Roadster
1970s; Road-legal MGB Roadster without the modifications that our white MGB Roadster has for hillclimbing and sprinting
