Competitor notes: As this runs on closed public roads, and not a prepared track, it is very important to read the regulations carefully as there may be differences to normal courses:
You will be directed to initially assemble in a car park, prior to moving to the course in convoy.
The compulsory requirement to wear fire proof gloves, even for standard cars.
If you are not a member of the organising club or invited club then it is usually possible to organise a single event membership with them.
You must supply a groundsheet under the cars to prevent oil drips
If your car is not road legal, you may request dispensation to drive on public roads to and from the event
Walking the course is allowed but may prove difficult on open public roads so it is also allowed to drive the course (at legal speed) before the roads close.
The track surface is a standard public road and not a prepared track so grip may differ.
With Scrutineering on the Wednesday, then the competitive event days are Thursday (the Sloc), Friday (Creg Willey’s) and Saturday (Lhergy Frissell).
On the Saturday evening, there is a social event in Douglas, where the awards are presented based on the total results over the 3 days.

Accessibility
Spectator accessibility notes: Very difficult as only competition vehicles can get anywhere near the paddock areas and all the viewing areas would need to be from unprepared rough hilly road side embankments.
Camping accessibility notes: No camping allowed at or near the course
