PA announcements: No, but in April 2022 we had a man on a bike with a megaphone (which worked very well) that rode up and down to call forward 20 cars at a time to assemble at the start line.
Return running type: Finished singly as the track ended back at the edge of the paddock.
Numbered paddock bays: No
Scrutineering: You can expect to have to take the car to a specified area of the paddock or to a temporary sheltered/ gazebo to be looked at.
Timing supplier: There was no live timing, however your time was displayed on an electronic scoreboard at the end of the run, or you could look them up on the club website or view printed versions at the club gazebo.
Competitor notes: This is not a permanent track as it uses the airfield runways with the course defined by traffic bollards. When we attended in 2019 there were 2 separate courses set up so we run one in the morning and the other one in the afternoon, but in 2021 it was a new layout as a single, much longer course, and we are aware that other layouts are created for other events so you will need to carefully check each time.
